Update 9th Dec '09: Wow.... I would never have imagined a homemade cat feeder would have received so much attention! It all started when it was featured on Engadget and it seemed to snowball from there across a whole bunch of other 'tech' sites, through the blogosphere and even tweeted about on Twitter! The traffic levels shut my Internet connection down so having offloaded the images to my ISP's web servers I got back online and received over 10,000 visitors in the first two days - I don't normally get than many in two months! The YouTube video has now also fetched over 30,000 hits... unbelievable.

Thank you for all the comments and feedback - the majority of which have been positive but also a fair few in various forums and blogs that were, let's say, not-quite-so-positive! Either way they're all appreciated. You can't please all the people all the time - the cats are happy and that's all that matters! ;-)
