Hi, good site. very informative and Although I knew which part I needed for my boiler I could find very little info. This site is great and the pics are very good to show people exactly what it is your talking about.
Anyway I used the info to find this shop on ebay, if it's any use to anybody else. after visiting keeptheheaton which is a good site as well.

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Gas-Appliance-Boiler-Cooker-Spares

no it's not my shop! cheers mark

Good to come across this towards the end...and glad I started reading and viewing from the bottom up...as is my wont.
Looks just like home...even the sarnie looked like my lunch.
Bet it was just as much fun at the sleeping bag stage. . .full agreement with jeans and scruffy jumper, comfort! A job worth doing.....

Hey neighbour!

I don't believe we've met officially but Ian and I live at number 18 with our baby son.

Someone mentioned you had a website with your DIY progress on - we were really interested to see what you've done. We're getting there very slowly - students inhabited the house before us and it had the decor to suit!

Couple of quick questions - did you need to get planning permission to brick up the old back door? Do you have a door between the kitchen and the utility room? We are considering doing what you've done to make better use of the utility space but weren't sure if we needed to ask anyone first!

hey neighbour! I heard rumours that u might have a websight! Had a spare half hour so though I'd "google" it.
Great to see how it was before we moved in next too you. Some of the pics even show our back yard, as it was 4 or 5 years ago! very interesting.
You've certainly put some hard work into you home, and I recon its payed off. Looks great. Well done mate.

Matt - Nice website. One day my house will look like yours. Although I am intentionally going for a traditional look (iron fireplaces, reinstating full ceiling height etc), yours looks very close to the original. Sorry to hear about your trouble with Northern Rock. I had a similar experience with Legal & General over life assurance which left me equally bitter, but not as much out of pocket. An idea - how about promoting Mr Cook to the top level directory as he was hard to find!

Mathew, some might say you need to get out more, but when it comes to Worcester-Bosch boilers you're a star. My wife (Shawn) and I have renovated and remodelled a few places (Australia and UK) - I'm now facing maintenance rather than installation (the boiler's been in five years). Time to do the diaphragm! I followed the link to NewtonNet from a Google hit to the A1-gas forum. Keep up the good work (both of you). Cheers, Martin.

PS. How about putting an official picture of yourself on NewtonNet?

Hi Mat

Was bored stiff at work so had a look through your old pictures. Forgot just how much work you've actually done over the past two years. I like the ones of Clare getting dirty! Hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Hey there Mr Rat,

How are things with the house? You looking forward to your holiday I bet. Things here in the North Sea are cold and wet but getting slightly warmer (16) nut compared to your 30+ a bit dissapointing.

Thanks for sorting out the speeding fine for me. Awfully gracious of you to pay the fine and take the points ;-)

Big Ben
