Thanks for your boiler diverter post, I used it to fix the diverter valve on my 28CDI which is now 20 years old. I noticed that the diverter valve was not moving far enough across to actuate the micro switch so I was not getting hot water unless the heating was on. You can see the actuating arm moving looking from underneath the boiler. If i turned the hot tap on and off a few times it worked so it was a fair bet the diaphragm was at fault as the mechanism was moving.
I decided to get a diaphragm kit along with o rings and washers for about £30.00 and I used your instructions along with a very good YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX2BqZ-TYnY
I must admit it's a bit of a pig and there are loads of opportunities to break unrelated parts as you do this repair and i really questioned whether it was worth it, but glad i did it now it's done.
My biggest issue was one of the isolator valves leaked when i filled the boiler back up, luckily it sealed but there are plenty of posts on plumbing forums telling you never to use the isolators. I also found that i had to resort to my own o rings on one occasion as there was not one suitable in the kit i got. It's one of those jobs where you really need a van full of goodies just in case you need them, like a plumber would
If i did this again i would spend the extra £60 and get the whole valve so i did not have the worry of doing this again if the main valve gives up.

It took me 4 ½ hours in total but I was been extra careful and spent time double checking/cleaning everything.

I must thank you. As I do like seeing the different pics and events I was actually here looking for Tiburon manuals and help. Iam so thankful for these manuals. I am currently working on a 2008 Tiburon. I am replacing the power steering pump. I sure there will be other issues that will arise. I feel so much better that I have a site to visit if I need help, and a place to upload my experience with this tibby.

This is an amazing resource, especially since I keep losing my paper manual! Thanks so much for keeping this going, without you and RockAuto I'd have had to scrap my Gen1 Coupe at the weekend. It'll be back on the road again by teatime.

Thank you so much for the COUPE documentation and especially the clarification on the two break disc types.
I am building a tiburon 2.0i FX from 2000 into a rally cross car, have you got any tips?

Is there a way to locally save your website in case it ever goes down?

Thanks for the manuals! Months of searching finally brought me to your site which I think is the only one on the internet that has the manuals available for download.

Hi. I felt I just had to write & give thanks for your help & advice whilst sorting my hot water problems. I couldn't have done it without you!

I changed the diverter valve diaphragm in my Worcester 28CDi (still chugging along at 16 years old) for a cost of around £30.

With no specific plumbing skills I had my doubts but actually had little difficulty except I got the control board wet which caused some scary symptoms. Once it had dried out everything worked great again.

Thanks again & keep up the good work.

Cheers,
Andy.
